Draft Horse Stallion
"Mini Bacchus" is a completely new sculpture based on the idea of my first original sculpture released in resin! Back in 2012 I sculpted "Bacchus", a 1:9 scale draft stallion, and started my business. A lot have happened in 11 years and I have developed my skills as a sculptor. "Bacchus" will always have a place in my heart as my "first born", but I felt it was time to revisit the idea behind "Bacchus", as well as finally offer my supporters something in a "smaller scale".
"Mini Bacchus" is approximately 1:17 scale (1:16-1:18 depending on the breed assignement), measuring 10 cm tall at the withers and 14,2 cm to the tip of the ear. His overall length is approximately 19cm (from raised leg to the furthest point of the tail).
"Mini Bacchus" is an open edition available for orders for 1 month: from July 1st until July 31st (2023). The edition is molded and cast by Jolt Studios in the finest quality. The resin copies will be solid with wire reinforcements.

How to Order
To make an order of MINI BACCHUS simply e-mail me at destrier-models (AT) hotmail.com
You can use the "Contact Vendor" button on MH$P, but I've had issues of not receiving email notifications from MH$P.
Please DO NOT message me on Facebook or Instagram. I won't accept orders sent through Facebook or Instagram.
In your e-mail let me know:
- Your name and shipping address (a phone number will also be required when the order ships from Finland)
- How many copies you would like to order
- How do you want to make the payment(s)
- Non-EU customers: PayPal.
- EU customers: PayPal or Bank Transfer (SEPA)
Please let me know the PayPal email to send an invoice to.
I will send you an invoice based on your order. Payment (deposit) is required within 3 days of invoicing.

Prices and Payment Details
All prices include shipping. VAT will be added to all orders within EU. The VAT-% is based on the tax laws of the buyer's country.
Non-EU orders ship directly from the caster and EU orders are shipped from Finland. This means EU customers won't need to worry about any additional customs fees/taxes.
The prices on the chart are the total (deposit + balance). For example, USA price is 60 EUR + 190 EUR = 250 EUR.
Reservation Deposit
Mini Bacchus is an open edition available for orders between 1st and 31st of July (2023). All orders are so called pre-orders, which means there is usually a wait after sending in the order. A non-refundable deposit of 60 EUR is required when making the order, and the remaining is due only when we have cast your order and it is ready to ship.
The castings are produced by skilled artisans and are handmade with care. This means that if there is a high demand for this sculpture, the wait can be significant. It can be anything from several weeks up to several months.I cannot give an estimate on when a specific orders is cast and ready to ship, but once your order is ready, you will have 14 days to pay the remaining amount. I understand that sometimes, life just happens, so I can offer the option of moving your order to the end of the list ONCE. Once your balance is due for the second time, you'll have 7 days to make the payment.
If one fails to pay the remaining or wishes to cancel the order at any point, the deposit is not refunded. The deposit is kept as a compensation for the time, effort and materials spent on this order.
By paying the deposit and placing a reservation, you agree to the terms described above
Time Payments
This time I won't be able to offer time payments. If you wish to have more time to come up with the balance, I'd advise you to wait until the last week of July to send in the order. This will most likely give few months before your balance will be due :)
Shipping
Shipping costs have been calculated into the prices. When ordering multiple copies I will combine the shipping if these copies are to be shipped together. I will let you know the exact price before invoicing.
Orders from EU countries are shipped from Finland to avoid additional customs fees/taxes to the customer. All other orders are shipped directly from the caster (Jolt Studios) in USA.
Shipping time can vary from weeks to months. Unfortunately it is impossible for me to give estimates on the timing of the shipping as there are so many variables that affect the shipping pace. Typical wait is couple of months, but if the number of orders is high, it can be more than 6 months.
I will be posting a shipping chart on this website. When making the order you are given an invoice/receipt with an 5-digit number. To protect your identity I will not use names or initials, but this number to indicate your order on the list.
The Chart
This chart is just a small portion of the "big list" and will have about 40 orders visible at any time: these are orders that have just shipped, are currently shipping or will be shipping soon. If you cannot see your number on the chart, it means your order is coming later. To get some idea when it might be on the list you can compare your number to the ones visible on the chart: smaller the number, the higher you are on the "big list".
Policies
Read the terms below carefully before placing an order.
- A payment is due within 3 days of invoicing
- Deposits and down payments are non-refundable
- Due to PayPal's new policies in case a refund is required the buyer will lose the fee.
- No item will be sent until it is fully paid for
REPLACEMENTS:
After receiving the order, you'll have 5 days to inspect it and inform me of any damage or faults. Please make sure you inspect the casting(s) thoroughly as after the 5-day period, I will no longer offer replacements for these castings. In order to get a replacement for damaged or faulty item(s):
The replacement will be shipped after I have received the returned damaged item. It might take a while to replace the item, if I'm out of stock at that moment, but I guarantee that if a replacement isn't sent within 6 months of receiving the returned item(s), I'll offer the customer the option of a refund.
RETURNS:
Under EU rules, all EU customers have the right to cancel and return the order within 14 days of receiving the items. This does not apply to damaged items. If your item arrives damaged, please see the instructions under "REPLACEMENTS".
To get a refund for cancelled orders:
Once I have received the item, in the condition it was shipped to the customer, you will have a refund of the amount of the original price within 14 days.
Please note, that though canceling the order is your right under the EU rules, it will affect your chances to participate in my future sales. I offer a lot of high quality photos of the items I'm selling to ensure the customer sees exactly what they are getting. I consider anyone, who cancels the order despite all the information and photos made available to them, a high risk for my business in future.
Copyright
Unpainted copies of MINI BACCHUS are intended to be finished by the customer or by an artist of their choosing. This includes all forms of applied finishes as well as alteration/customization, provided that the original sculptor and alterations made are clearly stated when showing or sharing online the piece in question.
I, Emilia Kurila, provide to the customer a limited, non-exclusive license of the right to photograph or videotape my work for the sole purposes of promotion, sales or photo showing of that work. Under no circumstances is it allowed to use photos or recordings of my sculptures for commercial purposes without my written consent.
I retain any and all rights for reproduction of MINI BACCHUS, including derivative works. No reproduction, in whole or in part, of any of my sculptures is allowed.
When publicly displaying or posting my work online, please state clearly the original sculptor. Tagging my artist profile/pages in social media is highly appreciated, but not required.
